Lightweight Cellular Concrete

Casting a House Methodology

Turn foaming technology into a repeatable building method. Coordinate the foaming agent, generator, mix design, casting workflow, and SIP formwork as one project-specific system.

The site sequence runs from preparation through placement and curing. Material delivery, equipment access and inspection hold points are agreed before casting begins.

Formwork and embedded services

Wall geometry, openings, supports and planned conduits are set out before the pour. Dimensions, bracing, interfaces and service locations are verified against coordinated drawings and structural review.

Placement and quality checkpoints

Each pour records the placement route, lift sequence, fresh density checks and any interruption or remedial work. Acceptance criteria and curing protection are defined for the selected mix and site conditions.

Casting a House Methodology

From formulation to finished wall

Each project is engineered around its materials, equipment, climate, and construction sequence. Technology transfer can include formulation licensing, generator setup, operator training, and casting support.

01

Define the target

Agree on application, density range, production volume, local inputs, and required performance criteria.

02

Set up the technology

Transfer the selected foaming process and prepare the generator, mixing workflow, and quality checks.

03

Prepare the formwork

Coordinate casting with Stay-In-Place (SIP) formwork and project-specific structural design.

04

Train and optimize

Document procedures, train the local team, and refine through controlled production trials.

Technical Process

Casting a house, step by step

Every project is scoped around the same inputs: intended use, target output, local material sources, available utilities and acceptance criteria. Formulation, foam generation, mixing, transfer, placement and inspection are planned as one workflow, not as separate operations.

No dilution ratio or cement-to-sand ratio can be fixed in advance. The recipe is established from product data, the mix design and the materials on site, then qualified through trial mixes before production release. A generator delivers steady foam only inside its verified operating envelope, with output matched to mixing and placement; capacity, pressure and flow are confirmed with equipment data and commissioning measurements. Pump and hose performance follow the mix, the route, the lift and the rate of placement.

Foam density, fresh concrete density, workability, material consumption and interruptions are recorded on a repeatable sampling plan. Placed material is protected, and curing, demoulding, loading and follow-on trades follow approved project criteria and strength evidence; curing time varies with formulation, geometry, temperature and humidity. In SIP assemblies the formwork is never removed, so the wall arrives already formed and insulated, with any insulation or cladding contribution designed and verified for that assembly.

Prepare the site

Coordinate foundation lines, wall layout, services, formwork, utilities, materials, access, and inspection hold points.

Run a controlled pour

Match generator and mixer output to placement rate; record density, batch quantities, sequence, and interruptions.

Protect and verify

Follow project-specific curing requirements and use test results to determine when later work can safely proceed.
